hmmm...mama tapaukan nasi fo me today..
sedap..nasi goreng+sambal tahu+ikan bilis+telur+sambal tempe=kenyang+ngantok
today belajar ape??

oil extraction process..from sludge..
ape itu sludge..sludge is bahan buangan from the oil production..
so dey want to see d percentage of d left over oil inside d bhn buangan...

sludge..scraped it..and letak dlm ini..tube2 putih nie..


and den sumbat with tissue papers..to elakkan minyak kua..i tink


masokkan petroleum ether 60 to 80 degrees and d tube into this individual bottle


and this is the machine..the Gerhardt-Soxtherm oil extractor.. dlm gelas tuh ade what its call boilstone-use to pastikan air tak percik2 or like menggelegak gitu..

2-mmg kami lambat..hahaa..b4 day we went to uniten..tumpang my cozin..abg harun as he was on his way to ILSAS (TNB training centre)..so kak kerry will pick us up der..tp kami juge lambat...hehhehehe...tp kami sempat mencuci mate..tgk engineers2 warm up for bola..ishhh ishh,,,hahha..gedik gatal...
3-sesat kemana2 ntah..kat purajaya tuh..baper kali tawaf dah,,,tp we manage to find it...

so kami berpicnic..and bergambar mcm diva2 mcm org gile..hahhaa...

after that ke alamanda and shop..
ezza bot a cute cap..
and aku bergaya lah kan ngan cap tuh..
target..kumpol duet..and buy one..
hehehe...

and den shoot off to my place in semenyih..
and we had makan2 sesson+solat+manicure..
and den ereen n kak kerry went back...

day 4..
ape d hard-working gal athirah buat..

smpi2 lab..Pn Hamidah called..
telling dat d offer letter dah siap..ehehe!
so boss said..'ha pg amek den gi um la...settlekan sme..'...

and so i went off to um..after meeting Pn Hamidah and briefing by Pn Latifah from the Bhgn Latihan..

shoot off to um..
smpi2 pg ISB dlu..settle kan d surat perakuan and stuff..
den text si Kadok..we planned to have lunch together..thot Mr J would tag along..tp kadok said jerman nak makan dewan makan..hmmm...sampai hati u J..hukhukhuk..so end up me and kadok je..

ouh i havent mention Kadok yet..
hes real name is...Azriq..if i not misspelled..hheee..
tp katenye name malam die Noor..
den i found out y...rupenye d name is Mohd Noor Azriq..sengal!
picked him up..(kecik ati tgk2 jerman ta de..ta na kawan jerman!)..and went to SKET..to settle on the tolak tawaran sum kursus pra pekerjaan or whutever it is called...huhu..byk betol kejenye..

den went fo nasi ayam @ pantai dalam ..sebelah pantai permai..sedap2!..
and kadok banje..thanks kadok..gile ape dok?..gile babii(with a sengau and pelik accent..only he can buat..and jadi sgt funny and burowk!)..

den shoot off back to um..

and kadok took my long necklace..

and today..i bcame a chemist i tell u..ahhahaa....
i learned how to dilute NaoH..
den i learned on the protein extraction..and i actually had a hands-on experience...
best best..dah lame ta wat keje2 wet lab..ehehe..i loike!

2 000ml of distilled water...

200gm of solid NaOH


and den mixed it together...and here we used the magnetic stirrer..

the Extraction of the Protein from the Kernel Meal

the kernel meal..

adding the kernel meal into the NaOH

put a thermometer to control the temperature between 40-50 degrees..if more then the protein will eventually denatured..

and we stir fo 2 hours..


the stirrer..


and finally we centrifuge..and maintain d temperature ..


and thats my workplace..hahhaha...

and thats what i did today...

balik2 slept like logs..
woke up @ 9
baru mandy and makan..and tgk tv..and bace proposal lagi..
and tido lagi...

hahaha...

3rd day..
ape athirah buat...??

studied d proposal..
and blablabla..

today En Zubir and Faizal masok lab..
dey arrived KL last nite..

well today
nuthing much...went lunch fo d fes tyme @ d cafe with farah her twin farhani and amy...

today went to makmal entomology..study on insects...farhani work der..shes on this tiny2 lil pupa which will b send to new zealand for the study of the feromon..wow huh!

and i learn w more thing..those 2 bottles 1 is labelled as CPKO (crude palm kernel oil)..its from the kernel of the fruit..and another one is our minyak masak which tu ofcos la belom process lagi..it is called CPO(crude palm oil)..minyak masak kte tuh is from d mesocarp (serabut) of fruit (biji kelapa sawit)...

the fruit..as in biji kelapa sawit got 3 layers...its the mesocarp,endocarp and kernel...so the mesocarp jadi minyak masak kte...endocarp (the shell of the nut) hasil buangan die akan dijadikan bahan api alternatif like charcoal etc..and the most center..the kernel..will den produce to hasilkan the CPKO..and be the creamer, sabun, cosmetics..
CPKO will den be processed into cosmetics,creamers and stuff like dat..

hehhe..i do learn sumthing to day...ehhee..

den smbung mentenet di lab...ehehe..
and blaja sket2 those chemy2 thingy...hehehee...
